Decorative Picket Railing on Tall Side Stairs
Project Overview
Black railing with decorative knuckle pickets installed down a tall exterior side stair at a cream vinyl-sided home with a stucco base.
Analysis
The stair is long and steep against the house, so the rail was fabricated in two flights with a continuous top rail and a matching wall-side handrail.
Process
Measure, fabrication, powder coat, install in one mobilization, and final alignment.
Outcome
A safe, good-looking handrail on a long stair run that is easy to grip the full length.
