Ornamental Scroll Railing on a Stone-Veneer Entry
Project Overview
Ornamental railing with scroll top rails and decorative balusters installed around the stone-veneer porch and down the steps of a large tan brick home with paver walks.
Analysis
The entry terrace is wide, so the design was built in matching bays with scroll detailing repeated at the same spacing for a consistent rhythm along the whole run.
Process
Measure the terrace and steps, shop fabrication, finishing, installation in two stages, and a final detail pass.
Outcome
A continuous ornamental railing that reads as original to the home and dresses the entire entry terrace.
